Preferred QualificationsPosition Summary

This position is primarily responsible for creating, curating and analyzing social media content. Additional responsibilities include participation in recruitment events, creating marketing materials, executing public relations and marketing campaigns, and other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Lift and carry over 20 pounds, both assisted and unassisted.
Communicate effectively via telephone and in person.
Utilize computer technology for all applications in a manner that meets performance expectations.

Manage, generate, monitor and respond to social media posts. Create, schedule and curate relevant, original and high-quality social content from staff, partners and stakeholders. Maintain a digital content calendar to strategically promote events, initiatives and goals of IDM.

Percentage of time60 Duties/Responsibilities


Travel to events to document trainings and exercises relevant to IDM projects. Travel to student recruitment settings to recruit students into IDM educational programs.

Percentage of time10 Duties/Responsibilities


Execute marketing and communications campaigns in partnership with IDM faculty and staff related to grant funded initiatives. Respond to internal marketing requests via the creative brief process with the creation and delivery of marketing plans, fliers and other graphics.

Conduct market analyses to inform marketing strategy. Participate in Institute meetings as needed as well as participate in professional development activities.
