The normal work day is 8:00 AM until 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. However, this role requires some night and weekend duties in fulfillment of the responsibilities of the position.

This position will serve a dual role by assisting the Facilities Manager and the Logistical Support Manager in the Terry College of Business. This position will be located in the Solution Center and serve as the initial face-to-face contact for the Facilities Office and Logistics. This position will serve as the front line greeter for all Terry College faculty, staff, students, and visitors. Customer service is critical for this position.

Facilities Manager Assistance: Provides administrative, logistical and security support to facilitate the successful operations of all facets of the buildings. This includes, but is not limited to:
•Assists with scheduling the access control and alarms for buildings, supervision, scheduling, and payroll of security and administrative staff, communication of building or security issues with appropriate campus units, coordination of events, support of special events and projects as they arise, coordination with IT support unit as needed, and various administrative and budget tasks in support of facility operations. It is expected that individual will interact regularly with key external personnel such as building partners (CTL and EITS), Campus Reservations, UGA Police Department, Environmental Safety Division, Facilities Management Division, and other units as needed;
•Assists with day-to-day building operations and support by managing/supervising and resolving problems concerning facility usage and maintenance, operations, equipment malfunction, annual inventory validation, etc.;
•Assists with facility usage scheduling by conferring with requests, scheduling events, assessing fees and managing/coordinating related facilitative functions such as catering, equipment/technology requests, custodial needs, security needs, and acting as liaison with Campus Reservations;
•Maintains a safe environment by monitoring the building and grounds by providing on-site leadership for response to emergency situations; and
•Coordinates the daily building schedule and usage by monitoring and programming the security system (Genetec/Andover), lighting systems, usage statistics and hours listings.

•Assists with purchase requests related to departmental billing;
•Assists with locks and keys for all Terry College of Business buildings and coordinates with departments/units as needed;
•Monitors copier maintenance and service calls;
•Sorts/distributes mail deliveries; and
•Assists with secure print and copy operations.
