Job SummaryTo assist in populating, updating, and maintaining the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) used at the Polynesian Cultural Center.

Job ResponsibilitiesPosition Scope
Performs maintenance duties which include service to all food service equipment, checking all fire systems, testing fire alarms, inspecting fire extinguishers and air conditioners, replacing burnt out lights, outlet and switch covers.
Works with the full time employees to help them and to learn new skills
Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the supervisor

Requirements
Must have a basic understanding of building systems.
Must be a self-starter with the ability to accomplish objectives without constant direction from management.
Must be able to work independently.
Must be willing to learn new skills.
Must be fluent in English both i oral and written communication.
Must have good computer skills, and a good working knowledge of the computer programs Excel and Microsoft Office.
Must attach a resume and current semester's class schedule (weekly view format).
Computer database and scripting skills a plus (not required).

Physical RequirementsWorks indoors in an office atmosphere and around various maintenance and construction sites, open pits and/or trenches, sewers, attics, roofs, and water canals as needed.
Uses a personal computer and various office machines and supplies.
Uses policy and procedures and strategic planning manuals.
Work hours flexible.
