Applies skills and experience as a seasoned nurse educator to ensure optimal clinician knowledge and skills through education and training in SICU nursing education and / or training. Serves as a preceptor for entry or intermediate Clinical Nurse Educators. Leads implementation of new programs.

A Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN).
Registered Nurse (RN) issued by the state of California.
ACLS or ART at time of hire with commitment to get ART within six (6) months of hire date.
Three (3+) or more years of relevant ICU RN experience.
Demonstrated hospital management skills, with progressive expertise in patient care services.
Proven knowledge to manage disaster incidents, sentinel events and ability to problem solve with critical thinking skills.
Thorough knowledge of delivering clinical nursing education and training material for orientation and skills/competency learning and leadership development.
Demonstrated knowledge of a broad spectrum of professional nursing practices and issues.
Strong skills in written and verbal communications. Ability to collaborate productively in a team environment with all levels of internal and external personnel and to convey complex clinical information in a clear, concise manner.
Thorough knowledge of methodology for conducting evidence-based research, data collection, analysis, and reporting.
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to manage multiple levels of information and responsibilities, and to quickly assess moderately-complex problems to develop potential solutions
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide education, training, and resources, and to develop positive working relationships with nursing staff and leadership.
Detail oriented, with proven organizational skills and the ability to effectively manage time, prioritize tasks, and see projects through to completion on deadline.
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN).
- Previous experience as a clinical educator.
- Trauma resuscitation RN experience.
- Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.
