The College of Engineering is seeking Assistant, Associate, and Research Personnel candidates. This link is an open submission process for all person applying for an engineering research position within the College of Engineering at the University of Alabama. Persons holding these positions are to conduct research with various faculty members on a variety of projects.

Successful candidates are expected to develop and sustain sponsored research programs, and seek and obtain external funding to partially support research program within the College of Engineering.

The College of Engineering at the University of Alabama is searching for Assistant, Associate, and Research staff personnel. Persons holding these positions are to conduct research with various faculty members within the College on a variety of projects. These staff positions are non-tenure earning, and degree requirements are based on the rank of the position.

Successful candidates are expected to develop and sustain sponsored research programs, and seek and obtain external funding to partially support research program within the College of Engineering.

Additional Position Information:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•The rank of Assistant Research requires a Master’s degree in one or more specialized fields within engineering or a closely related field.
•The ranks of Associate Research and Research require a Ph.D. degree in one or more specialized fields within engineering or a closely related field.
•Ability to develop and sustain a high-quality externally funded research program.
•Effective communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
•Expertise in the appropriate education and skills to meet the requirements of the particular research field.
•Proven record in funded research

Positions are non-tenure earning staff positions.
