Job Summary:

To produce desserts for both Spartan Terrace Restaurant and events. Execute final assembly of desserts for event services.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

1. Prefer pastry student with full uniform
2. ServSafe Manager Certification
3. Ability to read and follow a baking formula and correctly create required products for specific dates
4. Ability to take direction from Chef Instructor(s) as well as work independently
5. Ability to lift 40 LBS, bend and twist
6. Stand for long periods of time

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Essential Duties:

1. Read and follow production schedule
2. Create desserts following baking formulas
3. Have the ability to scale formulas properly
4. Operate equipment safely and sanitarily
5. Final assembly during event service
6. Set up and break down of production kitchen
