DescriptionThe Fox School of Business - Center for Student Professional Development (CSPD) Director of Alumni Career and Professional Development provides leadership and management for career-related services, programs, resources and professional development engagement strategies specifically for Fox School MBA, MS and BBA alumni.  This individual creates and executes a comprehensive and innovative suite of services to include career coaching, networking and professional development training.  In addition, the Director will identify/promote relevant employment and career growth opportunities for Fox alumni/graduates.  
The Director will work closely with the CSPD Assistant Dean/leadership team to create strategic and scalable support for alumni professional development including individual/group coaching; delivery of workshops; hosting and coordinating panel presentations; promotion of career opportunities and participation in special programs and events related to Alumni career/professional development.  Career/professional development coaching will also include career assessment and utilization of technology for career planning, job searching and networking. Services and coaching will be provided in person as well as virtually.
This position requires an understanding of career development/progression, latest trends in recruiting/hiring practices, and the use of new/emerging technology in the talent acquisition and the higher-education environments.  In addition, a specific knowledge base of business-related careers and mid to senior level (advanced degree) career paths (Bachelor to Masters level) is required.    
The Director builds and manages collaborate partnerships with Fox School alumni, the Fox Development team, Academic departments, and University leaders to encourage active involvement in CSPD Alumni Career and Professional Development initiatives.  An ability to engage with alumni and relevant constituents on a flexible schedule, participate in evening events, as well as travel regionally is essential. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience:Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of experience that includes career services, career counseling, recruiting/talent acquisition, alumni relations, or related field.  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Required Skills & Abilities:•Demonstrated strong presentation, written/verbal communication skills, strong organizational and time management skills•Demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively work with diverse populations•Strong focus on customer service with the ability to independently anticipate/identify problems and take decisive action to address them•Results-oriented focus with willingness to go above and beyond to achieve the required goals    •Knowledge of business careers and typical career paths in business•Proven ability to work equally well independently and collaboratively with colleagues throughout an organization to deliver effective programs•Ability to use independent judgment and to perform tasks on own initiative, many of which have no precedent•Ability to successfully manage complex projects, often simultaneously, as well as plan and execute small and large-scale events•Familiarity with and ability to research, utilize and master emerging tools and trends in the field of web-based career management and digital recruiting•Ability to evaluate, develop, and edit promotional correspondence and related materials•Creative approach to designing/delivering programs while striving to continuously improve processes and quality•Computer proficiency in Microsoft office and database experience
Preferred:•Master’s degree in Business, Higher Education Administration or relevant field•SHRM membership•Experience working with graduate-level students/experienced hires on career management or experience working in an MBA/MS or graduate program office•Experience working with international students/alumni and work authorization policies •Experience with focus groups and survey management/analysis•Experience with managing limited budgets
