SUMMARY:

The Football Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Head Football Coach with office operations, team personnel training and scheduling of the football program.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manages all operations of the football office including operating budget, team travel, quality control, NCAA compliance and recruiting related matters
  • Trains, supervises and mentors team managers, interns and other team personnel as assigned by head football coach
  • Serves as liaison with various administrative units and functions for Intercollegiate Athletics division
  • Work with appropriate external relations, alumni and fundraising efforts as guided by head coach or AD
  • Must abide by the rules of the NCAA, and the Lone Star Conference
  • Other duties as assigned by head coach or AD

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience / Knowledge / Skills: Two (2) years of combined experience in collegiate football operations, collegiate coaching, or athletic department administration experience required. Evening and weekend work necessary. Student experience will be considered.
  • Ability to: Multi-task and work well as part of a team.
  • Licensing/Professional Certifications: NA
  • Physical Requirements: NA
  • Other Requirements: NA

PREFERRED EDUCATION / SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE:

Division I or II administrative experience preferred.
