Job Details
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Development of a recruitment plan for the New England region.
Management of a recruitment territory within the New England area
Reads and advises on admission decisions for those applicants in the specified territory.
Supervises other team members who will have a territory within the New England region.
Manages specialized programs as assigned by the home office.
Travels to campus for required events and trainings at various points during the year
Organizes and facilitates regional receptions, dinners and other recruitment events for students, parents and guidance counselors.
Participates in continued professional development in alignment with University and departmental goals.
Adheres to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Conference and the NCAA
Ability to travel for several weeks annually
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required. 4-5 years of prior admissions experience within higher education with knowledge of both international and domestic recruitment preferred. Candidate should possess strong communication skills both oral and written as well as strong interpersonal, organizational and administrative skills. Proven ability to work within a fast-paced deadline environment with limited supervision. Familiarity with computerized admissions and financial aid systems, such as Ellucian Banner, as well as a working knowledge of PC-based word processing and spreadsheet programs will be advantageous.Application Instructions:For consideration, please email letter of application and resume to:
