Job Description Summary

The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering in the Coulter School of Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. The ECE department currently has 18 tenure track faculty, undergraduate degree programs in electrical, computer, and software engineering, and a graduate program that supports M.S. and Ph.D. degrees.

Computer engineering candidates are sought in areas of embedded systems, heterogeneous computing, hardware acceleration, cyber security, machine learning, autonomous vehicles, and systems. Preferred candidates will possess an excellent research record that is synergistic with current department and university research activities and centers. Applicants must have a potential for excellence in teaching, with preference to candidates who have taught a range of lecture and laboratory undergraduate and graduate computer courses.

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum qualifications include a PhD in computer or electrical engineering or equivalent.

Preferred QualificationsPhysical Demands
