Department The FSU Center for Information Management and Educational Services (CIMES) is a multidisciplinary consulting and technical center that serves both public and private agencies. CIMES is located at Innovation Park research and development complex.

CIMES is seeking an accomplished learning experience designer and administrator to join our dynamic interdisciplinary development team. This position is responsible for all learning experience projects, personnel, and budgets, to include: day-to-day management and coordination of project components (research, design, and development); personnel management and recruitment; project budget management; identification of funding opportunities; and proposal development.Equal Employment Opportunity An Equal Opportunity/Access/Affirmative Action/Pro Disabled & Veteran Employer.

Identifies funding opportunities and assists in developing proposals.
Leads the marketing of instructional design services.
Assists in budget development and management.
Serves as recruiting lead for all new section hires.
Participates as a member of the CIMES admin team to develop strategies, create policies, and address operational issues.

Supervises instructional design projects from inception to completion.
Consults with clients on instructional design and learning objectives.
Is responsible for the design and development of instructional strategies, course materials, and assessment techniques and for the appropriate integration of instructional technologies.
Researches and makes recommendations on educational best practices, instructional resources, instructional technologies, and multimedia hardware/software to support teaching and learning.
Researches and keeps current on new and emerging educational best practices, instructional resources, technologies, and multimedia hardware/software.Qualifications Master's degree from an accredited institution with demonstrated record of academic research achievement, or professional qualifications in the field of specialization above those which would be equivalent to the highest degree.

Applicants should have experience and skills in development of print and multimedia web-based training products, program evaluation, project management, staff supervision, and budget management. Applicants should have a demonstrated history of writing proposals and obtaining funding.

The successful applicant will have excellent writing skills; be an effective communicator; and be detail-oriented, self-directed, efficient, and able to manage multiple tasks.
