Position Summary Information

Primary Purpose

Responsible for creating digital media for recruiting purposes, recording and coding video, collecting statistics, analyzing data, and writing reports to prepare the women’s basketball team for competition.

This is a one-year renewable position, contingent upon available funding.

Essential Functions

1.Produces digital media for use in recruiting media and videos, scouting reports and video sessions.

2.Record video of women’s basketball games.

3.Code video of games through the use of software to facilitate video analysis.

4.Maintains video database of all opponents.

5.Assist with data analysis and game reports to prepare women’s basketball team for competition.

6.Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Experience/Certifications:

•Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•One (1) year related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Skills/Knowledge and Expertise:
•Two (2) years of prior basketball playing or coaching experience.
•Working knowledge of iMovie or other digital video programs.
•Working knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel.
•Basic knowledge of statistics principles.
•Knowledge of basketball.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Positive attitude, proven ability to work successfully with diverse populations and demonstrated commitment to promote and enhance diversity and inclusion.
