University Communications and Marketing. The Director of Brand & Marketing provides strategic and tactical expertise to execute the University’s marketing and brand efforts to promote and implement a consistent message and support university goals and align departmental, divisional and University messages.

Essential Functions

•Oversees and set strategy for advertising efforts.
•Manages professionals and students in the areas of marketing, editorial, design, photography, video, digital and web content.
•Develops creative concepts for University marketing materials.
•Works with the Vice President to maintain University brand materials and messages and collaborates with other Directors in the office to support their efforts.
•Oversees approval of departmental and public use of University logos.
•Create materials intended for University’s external audiences.
•Serves as editor of the Georgia Southern Magazine; supervises production of the magazine and other publications.
