Job Function:
Participate in goal determination, curriculum development, and outcomes assessment for the cardiovascular sonography program. Provide guidance that medical components of the didactic and clinical curriculum meet current acceptable performance standards. Participate in clinical instruction. Essential Job Functions:Collaborates with Division and Department Head to ensure the development of the Cardiovascular Sonography Program Provides guidance to ensure the medical components of the didactic and clinical curriculum meet current acceptable performance standardsParticipates in program outcomes assessmentParticipates in an active advisory board for degree programAttends annual advisory committee meetingsAssists in maintaining specialty accreditationRemains current with theory and practice in the professionAdheres to FERPA guidelinesAdvises on Sonography best practicesAdheres to nationally acceptable standards of theory, procedure, protocol, and ethicsParticipates in other program activities as appropriateCompletes all mandatory training and participated in a minimum of two professional development each year.Performs other duties as assigned. - Current State of Oklahoma medical license
- Communicationskills – Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with clear, grammaticallycorrect English; requires interaction with colleagues, students, alumni,advisory committee members, and the public, using tact, discretion, andindependent judgment.Professionalskills- Must adhere to nationally acceptable standards of theory, procedure,protocol, and ethics. Interpersonalskills- Must work effectively and cooperatively with campus faculty,departments, divisions, and support units, as well as a wide variety of peopleoutside the university, such as clinical affiliates, advisory committeemembers, and representatives of other two-year and four-year institutions.Passion forassisting customers and representing the OSU brand with positivity andprofessionalism.Evidences ahistory of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior

- Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include some evenings and weekends in an often times busy and noisy environment.Work will be performed in an office and classroom environment with a significant amount of public contact, in person, by telephone and via email.
