The Department of Theatre & Performance Studies, located in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area, invites applications for a Limited Term Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre position with a specialty in piano accompanying. Candidate must be a proficient musical theatre accompanist and sight-reader. Primary duties will include accompanying musical theatre classes, rehearsals, auditions, lessons, audition coachings, and special events. Secondary duties may include vocal coaching, music technology projects (recording accompaniment tracks), keyboard programming, musical theatre composition and arranging, and repertoire coaching. Opportunities may arise to teach courses in musicianship, repertoire, and musical theatre history and literature, if the candidate demonstrates skills in these areas. Service requirements may include recruitment, organization of special events in musical theatre, committee service work, curriculum planning, and additional collaboration with faculty.Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):
