Duties, Roles & Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate science classes for science and non-science majors.
Adjunct faculty are needed to teach Environmental Science.
The faculty member will conduct his/her assignments and co-curricular college activities in a manner consistent with the philosophy and purposes of Aims Community College as stated in the school catalog. The primary purpose of the faculty member is to teach. The faculty member is also responsible for scholarly and creative activities (professional development) and service to the college.
1. Instructional assignment will be that of environmental science but could also include general biology depending on applicant’s qualifications.
2. Participate in on-going professional development.
3. Work directly with the full time faculty that are course captains for courses assigned.

Functional Attributes of Job DutyMinimum Qualifications

Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a part/full-time basis.

Master’s degree in the discipline OR master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in the discipline.
