Fire Certification Specialist
Butler County Community College (BC3) is currently accepting applications for the position of Fire Certification Specialist. This is a temporary part-time position that will begin immediately. Hours vary based on need.

Reporting to the Coordinator of Fire/Hazmat Training Programs, Fire Certification Specialist is responsible for the coordination of all Pennsylvania State Fire Academy Certification Programs (PSFA) offered through the College and communicating with Public Safety Services to schedule and market programs. Associate degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience required. Must be PSFA Certified to Firefighter I and current PA State Fire Academy Evaluator. Certified PA State Fire Instructor preferred. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Fire/Rescue; understanding of basic knowledge of Fire/Rescue courses; knowledge of Microsoft Office. Experience as a State Fire Academy evaluator or instructor preferred.
