Stanford University is seeking an Program Manager (APP1) to work under the direction of faculty or other management to implement and administer the vision, strategy, and goals of the assigned academic entity/program(s).
Background:
The Global Center for Gender Equality (GCfGE) at Stanford University aims to redefine the approach to global health and development by creating a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural network of researchers, policy makers and practitioners to build on the evidence on what works to address gender inequalities, fill key gender data gaps and equip the next generations of global health and development leaders to tackle gender equality challenges. Our vision is to create opportunities for advancement of gender equality through gender transformative research, policy, leadership and programing that enable all people to achieve their full human potential.
Position Summary:
The Program Manager is a new position which will work closely within the Center to provide oversight and management to programs that are related to both gender integration and maternal and child health. This position will oversee grants, proposals and manage their reporting, targeted outputs and budgets to ensure timely delivery on set goals. Principal duties of this role include providing assistance to the PI and Executive Director in the management of funding, delivery of reporting, collaboration and coordination of program teams and consultants.
The Program Manager must have experience with the management and implementation of international development programs as well as prior experience coordinating with funders and program teams. Strong candidates will have experience working in research as well as experience in the healthcare field.
Duties include:

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE (REQUIRED):
Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience or combination of education, training, and relevant experience. Advanced degree may be required for some programs. Program administration and or research experience may be required.
