Departmental Overview
Digital Learning Services (DLS) is a department within Research, Teaching and Learning that provides design, production, delivery and digital tools services for common good digital learning and revenue generating online learning at UC Berkeley. DLS partners with schools and departments throughout the university and UC system to build online education courses and programs of exceptional quality. As members of the Berkeley community, who care deeply about serving the university, we blend our expertise in online learning with broader strategic plan and institutional goals and values.
Responsibilities
resources with broad audience of learners, including graduate, undergraduate and public learners, and a high consequence of error affecting student learning outcomes and success.
programs or projects for Master's Degrees, undergraduate courses, and public courses, including new content, digital pedagogy practices and policies, innovations, and to ensure that digital learning content meets campus needs and effectively delivers the desired learning outcome opportunities.
software and applications, requirements and developments including but not limited to WCAG 2.0 AA standards, interactive learning tools, adaptive learning, virtual and augmented reality and recommends or implements actions.
