Instructional Faculty Position for Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology Management

Clark State Community College is currently seeking a full-time twelve-month Instructional faculty position is available in the Bachelor of Applied Science in Manufacturing Technology Management program beginning August 9th, 2019 for the 2018-2019 academic year.
The successful candidate will use a learner-centered approach to teaching that incorporates active learning strategies and technology to enhance student learning. Primary duties include classroom teaching (lecture and lab), curriculum and course development, student advising, assessment of student learning, and participation in college-wide initiatives. This position also includes program coordination which consists of program promotion, student recruitment, program review, scheduling of classes and adjunct faculty recruitment.
A Master’s degree in Engineering or closely related field is required. Career experience in an engineering/manufacturing technology related area is highly desirable. Collegiate/adult-level teaching experience is strongly preferred.
The successful candidate must possess strong interpersonal and technology skills, ability to work in teams, flexibility to teach day, evening, and weekend hours as needed, at our Springfield, OH campus. Position reports to the Dean of Business and Applied Technologies and is located at the main campus in Springfield, OH.
Clark State Community College serves more than 6,500 students throughout the College's three campus locations in Springfield, Beavercreek and Bellefontaine, Ohio as well as our extensive offering of online classes.
