Location: Baker College of Clinton Township
Compensation: Compensation based on education and existing rates for similar positions within Baker College Professional Services, Inc.
Start Date: Fall 2019

Reports To: Program Director
Work Schedule: Up to 28 hours per week/ 52 weeks

Baker College Professional Services, Inc. seeks to hire an individual to be assigned to the position of PART-TIME ADJUNCT FACULTY (EDUCATION) for the benefit of and to be located at Baker of Clinton Township.

General Statement of Duties:

The primary purpose of the Part-Time Adjunct Faculty person is to teach courses in areas of their expertise.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Please note Baker College will evaluate the minimum education and experience based on the Academic Faculty Credential Policy
  • Degree from an accredited college or university in required field
  • Licenses in specific field if required
  • Online education platform familiarity preferred
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Apps, and Canvas
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Previous teaching experience preferred
  • Basic Microsoft Office and Google applications experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Teach a specified number of classes
  • Revise, review and/or develop curriculum, as needed
  • Complete all required professional development/training
  • Collect and submit required assessment of student learning data
  • Participate in appropriate campus and system committees, subcommittees, projects, and activities
  • Other duties as assigned
