Position Summary

NYU Stern is one of the largest and most multifaceted business schools in the world and has always been among the most innovative schools programmatically. The school has over 5,000 students and a suite of degree and certificate programs including the flagship undergraduate and full-time MBA programs; part-time, Executive and Global Executive MBA programs; a range of MS degrees; and newly-launched focused MBAs in Tech and in Fashion & Luxury and Executive MBA in Washington DC. To support innovation in our online program initiatives, Stern is pleased to announce the creation of the Associate Director, Online Program Services position.

 

The Associate Director, Online Program Services will work closely with the Senior Director to manage course delivery and student support for Stern online learning including certificate offerings and degree program. The Associate Director will create student service and course delivery models and ensure all online systems are in place to deliver world-class programs with high student satisfaction. The Associate Director will liaise with instructional technologists, faculty, NYU teams and outside vendors to prepare, deliver and improve online programs and courses. The selected candidate will establish and evaluate key performance indicators (KPI’s) and improve future programs based on data analysis. The Associate Director will also monitor and assess student progress, success and engagement in course and program offerings; and develop and implement procedures and tools to increase student success and engagement.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree along with 5 years of relevant experience in student services, academic or instructional technology, online content and academic program delivery or equivalent combination. The selected candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, project management experience and relationship building skills along with ability to evaluate, implement, and learn new technologies. Successful candidates will have the ability to work with various stakeholders in a collegial way to drive desired results. Experience creating new academic/online programs is preferred. Knowledge of NYU classes, WebEx, Zoom, Google Education Suite, Asana, Excel and Tableau is also preferred.
