Job Description

Texas State University, a member of the Sun Belt Conference, is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Baseball Coach for the Texas State Athletic Department. This position is full-time and benefits eligible position and reports to the Head Baseball Coach.

Job Duties

The Assistant Baseball Coach is responsible for the direct and independent coaching of student-athletes during practice and games, the assessment of prospective student-athletes, creation of individualized development plans for each student-athlete, development of overall game plans, facilitating team meetings, participating in public relations, marketing and fund raising for the baseball program and the athletic department, monitoring the academic progress of baseball student athletes, monitoring baseball summer camps and clinics and complying with NCAA, conference and Texas State University rules and regulations.
