Job SummaryIn addition to all of the job's basic and lead responsibilities, the Student Supervisor is also responsible for the training and supervision of student employees and is to ensure that student employees are performing duties properly and efficiently.

Job Responsibilities01. In addition to the student's basic and lead responsibilities of their job, the student is expected to assume a supervisor role of other student employees within the department, 02. Orient new students in detail to his or her role in the department, 03. Provide the training necessary to perform tasks, 04. Ensure that students are performing the tasks defined in their job descriptions, 05. Explain and demonstrate the standards of behavior expected of employees, 06. Other duties as assigned

Job Details
  • Interacts with Financial Services as necessary to maintain adherence to university financial policies and is Cash Handling certified.
  • Keeps and updates financial transactions for all the student clubs via google drive
  • Prepares CPOs for Gym Nights, the Hub, and Pool Activities for the Club's
  • Prepares and files Cash Vouchers based on the Approved Activity Proposals
  • Ensures that all the cash vouchers are fully liquidated with back up receipts and deposits
  • Follows-up student associations on any advanced vouchers that needs to be cleared
  • Assists students who need help with their Club's issues like submitting proposals, requesting for advanced checks, etc..
  • Sends out Statement of accounts to the Club in a quarterly basis
  • Coordinates with the student associations' treasurer for any financial issues
  • Communicates regularly and provides training to Club presidencies and advisors.
  • Prepares Journal Entries for any Club's transactions: Reconciliation, correcting, grants from Events & NSO, Matching fund, etc..
  • Reports work progress and raise any issues concerning Club’s accounts and update management
  • Demonstrates professional work ethic with students, Club’s officers, faculty, and staff.
  • Lists all of the Student Associations officers' name to be submitted to Financial services for scholarship grants
  • Performs other job duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

Related major preferred.

Sophomore minimum.

Previous student leadership experience preferred.

Minimum 1 years commitment

1 year previous work/classroom experience in similar field.
