Job Description:

The Marketing Project Manager works within the Office of Communications to oversee the initiation, prioritization, and scheduling of marketing and communications projects related to brand reputation, recruitment, academic programs, alumni engagement, development, and other initiatives targeting both internal and external audiences. This position serves as the liaison between campus partners and the Office of Communications to provide regular updates on projects as they progress. The position supports the Office of Communication to ensure that projects are produced efficiently and on deadline; that they meet the high standards of the institution; and they are executed to the satisfaction of our campus partners. This position will also play an important role in the development of project management systems.

Requirements:

The candidate should possess a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or a related field. The candidate should have three to five years of project management experience and experience working in a higher education environment is preferred. Evidence of strong project management skills, attention to detail, and customer service is required. Additionally, the candidate should have familiarity with and knowledge of project management software and demonstrate excellent planning, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills. The ability to prioritize essential tasks, have initiative, and good decision-making skills is necessary for success.
