The Associate Vice Provost (AVP) of Enterprise Business Solutions creates the vision and strategy for future enterprise information systems and supporting architecture. This position manages the operational aspects of current institutional PeopleSoft ERP, business intelligence, mobile applications, CRM, and other mission critical applications. The AVP analyzes the existing enterprise application portfolio and defines a roadmap for the portfolio as the College's needs and opportunities change. This position interacts across academic and administrative technology services by forging sustainable relationships with business units and providing consultative support across the College.

•Provides leadership and expertise relating to enterprise information systems that include PeopleSoft ERP, Business Intelligence, CRM, and other integrated applications.
•Oversees the daily operation and end-to-end integration of information systems to support the effective and efficient delivery of enterprise services across the College
•Provides leadership in the planning and expansion of the College's enterprise applications
•Leads the development and implementation of standard operating procedures and policies with an emphasis on maintaining and ensuring operation continuity and security of College's information assets
•Provides guidance and advocacy regarding prioritization of technology investments for the College and recommends changes to existing products or services to better aide the end users
•Serves as an effective member of the leadership team and advocates effective use of technology to a broad range of technical and non-technical employees
•Leads the College's disaster recovery and business resumption planning, testing, and implementation pertaining to enterprise information systems
•Serves as a primary member on College IT emergency response team
•Identifies and resolves cross-functional issues as they apply to operational processes within the College
•Represents College in state-wide technology initiatives pertaining to enterprise information systems
•Plans, prepares, manages budget for the department and assists in budgetary planning and cost based analysis for outsourcing opportunities
•Works directly with vendors on purchases, as well as support and maintenance contracts.
•Develops and implements processes in software development, quality assurance, change management, release management, and configuration management
•Performs other duties assigned

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a closely related field
•Ten (10) years of progressive experience in managing enterprise information systems at a large enterprise
•Demonstrated experience in enterprise information systems pertaining to higher education including academic and administrative technologies
•Five (5) years of leadership responsibility managing midsize to large teams, influencing senior level management and stakeholders
•Knowledge and understanding of College organization, goals and objectives, and policies and
procedures
•Demonstrated ability to understand and apply state-of-the-art technologies in academic and administrative information systems to support the needs of a complex organization of higher education with multiple locations and large number of users of enterprise applications
•Knowledge and understanding of higher education and governmental agency of corporate/industry IT operation, goals and objectives, and policies and
procedures
•Knowledge and understanding of related laws and regulations, such as Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Health Insurance Portability Accountability Act (HIPAA), Gramm-Leach-Bliley (GLB) Act, Communications Assistance for Law Enforcement Act (CALEA)
•Knowledge of the current and evolving technology trends and best practices in enterprise information systems pertaining to higher education
•Knowledge of national and industry security standards and best practices pertaining to secure design, configuration, and development of enterprise applications
•Demonstrated technical leadership experience, which has included the successful development and implementation of roadmaps for large, multiple location, enterprise-wide technology initiatives
•Demonstrated experience in managing and supporting ERP System, preferably PeopleSoft, including Financials, Human Resources, and Student Information System
•Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following software development models: Waterfall, Prototyping, Incremental, Iterative, Spiral, RAD or Agile
•Experience with one or more of the following project management approaches: PRINCE2, Critical Chain (CCPM), Process-based (CMMI), Agile, Lean or Benefits Realization (BRM)
•Knowledge of software QA technologies and performance matrix
•Knowledge and experience with vendor and contract negotiation
•Demonstrated ability to develop policies and strategic plans for immediate and future needs in Information Technology
•Demonstrated ability to manage enterprise-scale projects including project planning, resource management, time estimation and execution
•Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies in a diverse community
•Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and some weekend assignments and travel between campuses
•Ability to work well in a multi-ethnic and multi-cultural environment with students, faculty and staff
