Selected candidate is expected to work independently on already funded projects in high temperature geochemistry which includes mid-ocean ridge processes and subduction related volcanism. Tasks involve preparation and analyses of samples as well as data interpretation and producing manuscripts. There is the opportunity to work on other than the funded research initiatives in the area of isotope geochemistry and igneous petrology.
Candidate should be willing to join a sea-going expedition in Spring 2020.Qualifications Eligible candidates should have a PhD in the field of Geology.Preferred Experience in the area of isotope geochemistry and igneous petrology preferred.Anticipated Salary Range Salary is $48,000 per annum.Pay Plan This is an OPS/temporary Job.Criminal Background Check This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check, to include fingerprinting.
