The Department of Dance at Kennesaw State University, located in the greater metropolitan Atlanta area, invites applications for full-time limited term faculty of dance. One year of professional teaching experience is ideal, along with an established record of professional performance experience in the field. Candidates must have the ability to teach ballet dance technique and choreograph.Required Education - Experience - Skills (Minimum Qualifications):
M.F.A., earned doctorate or the foreign equivalent in Dance, or equivalent in professional dance experience.
One year of professional teaching experience is ideal, along with an established record of professional experience in the field.

The KSU Department of Dance enrolls over a 110 dance majors, employs 16 full/part time faculty, and is housed in a state-of-the-art dance facility, including a newly opened dance theater. Concentrations in ballet and modern dance are offered through the B.A. in Dance, that was started in 2009. The KSU Dance Company has received top honors at the American College Dance Association and has been invited to perform at the Kennedy Center in five national years.
