Position Description:
The LGBT Campus Resource Center Program Coordinator serves a pivotal role in the administration of the Center and the development of its policies and practices.

Program Coordinator has direct responsibility for the Center's education initiatives and programs which have campus-wide impact, developing, implementing, and managing the Center's signature and regularly occurring programs and activities.

The Program Coordinator oversees the Center's marketing and brand management, implementing communication strategies that have campuswide reach, including educational materials and resources, the Center's newsletter, website, social media, and all other digital and print materials.

The Program Coordinator also provides direct services to students, including interpersonal advising, identity exploration, workforce readiness, and crisis management. A subject matter expert, the Program Coordinator acts as a resource to campus departments on concepts and issues related to sexuality and gender.

UCLA also offers certificate programs, undergraduate degree-credit and continuing education credits for non-full-time students through its UCLA Extension education program.

The 2010 edition of U.S. News & World Report ranked UCLA as the 24th best university in the nation and 32nd best in the world. In the 2007 edition of U.S. News and World Report, UCLA Medical Center was ranked best in the West, as well as one of the top 3 hospitals in the United States alongside Mayo Clinic, Cleveland Clinic, Massachusetts General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins Hospital. In 15 of the 16 medical specialty areas examined, UCLA Medical Center ranked in the top 20.
