The University of Alabama at Birmingham, Department of Ophthalmology, has an opening for an Optometrist.  This position is full-time non-tenure earning.  Academic rank, compensation, and tenure will depend on qualifications and experience. Responsibilities include patient care, didactic and clinical training of residents, and opportunities for basic and clinical research.  There is immediate opportunity to engage in a very busy clinical practice within a tertiary clinic.
