Position Summary:

The Department of Psychology at Rollins College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning August 2020.  We are seeking an experimental psychologist trained in biological, behavioral, or cognitive psychology or a related specialty with a Ph.D. expected by August 2020 to join our collaborative, engaged, and inclusive faculty. 

The successful candidate will contribute 6 courses per academic year: in general, 5 Psychology courses (especially courses that contribute to our biological and behavioral (BB) or cognitive neuroscience (CN) domains and courses in our statistics and research methods and/or perspectives in psychology series) and 1 course in Rollins general education, Rollins Conference, or Honors programs.  We are also seeking someone who can develop courses in their area of specialization and demonstrates potential for a productive program of research.  The Rollins Psychology department’s laboratory facilities include two human behavior suites, a rat and mouse animal colony, and the Child Development & Student Research Center (Hume House), a laboratory preschool.
