Iona College, a private, comprehensive Catholic college founded in 1940 by the Edmund Rice Christian Brothers will celebrate its 80th year in 2020. With a diverse and welcoming community, Iona invites applications and nominations for the position of Vice President of Enrollment Management.

Located on a charming, nearly 45-acre campus approximately twenty-five miles north of New York City in suburban Westchester County, New York, Iona offers nearly 4,000 undergraduate and graduate students an intimate academic environment, dedicated faculty and the experience of a NCAA Division I athletics program with 21 varsity sports. Iona offers nearly 50 undergraduate programs, more than 30 minors, and over 40 graduate programs.

With the recent naming of a nationally recognized President, launch of the Hynes Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, groundbreaking for the new LaPenta School of Business, new academic programs, growth of the endowment to more than $150 million, and funding for newly endowed positions, there is exciting momentum at Iona, which makes it an ideal leadership opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading recruitment and yield functions with vision, integrity, inclusiveness, sound judgment, wisdom and energy, engendering a team approach across the integrated functions of undergraduate, graduate, transfer and international admissions and student financial services. The new leader will continue the development and implementation of the College’s comprehensive integrated enrollment plan, to advance the academic profile of incoming students and increase enrollment, while meeting net tuition revenue goals. The next vice president will work closely with internal and external partners to optimize financial aid, pricing and the leveraging of institutional resources to recruit and retain students and manage the discount rate.

Inquiries, nominations and applications are invited. Candidates should provide a resume, a letter of application, and the names and contact information for at least three (3) references. References will not be contacted without the express permission of candidates. Materials should be sent electronically via e-mail to Iona College’s consultants Ann Yates, Shelley Arakawa or Andrew Bowen at Iona-VPEM@wittkieffer.com. The consultants can be reached via the desk of Joan Larson at 630-575-6926. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.

A comprehensive leadership profile can be found at www.wittkieffer.com.

Iona College is committed to attracting and supporting a staff and faculty of women and men that fully represents the racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of the nation and our institution; as a result, we actively seek applications from individuals of all backgrounds and beliefs.
