Preferred QualificationsPosition SummaryServes as national/regional Annual Fund Coordinator. Coordinates annual giving efforts focused on securing private giving for the Terry College Excellence Fund as well as specific Terry College departments through class gift efforts.

Duties/Responsibilities Duties/ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain a personal portfolio of leadership annual giving prospects
-Focus on individuals who have given or who have potential to give at least $1,500 annually, traveling as appropriate to cultivate, steward, and personally solicit new or increased leadership annual gifts, focusing on high-end, multi-year pledges
Coordination of Class Giving Efforts
-Work with select departments (MAcc, MBA, ILA) on creation and execution of class gift campaigns
-Expand class giving efforts to include such programs as MMR and MBUS
-Attend and lead campaign events; Create, collect and maintain lists of class participation
-Work with central UGA office to ensure proper pledge/gift entry
-Work with departments on annual pledge reminder system for all prior year pledges
-Report in terms of dollars and donors, as well as measuring the success of various annual giving strategies
Coordinate Undergraduate Student Giving Initiatives
-Work with Development Committee from Terry Ambassadors and UGA Alumni Association’s Student Alumni Council to formulate annual plan for student giving
-Coordinate event calendar (Terry Kickoff, New Student Welcome/Orientation, Terry Talks, etc) so that students are kept abreast of philanthropic initiatives at Terry
-Hold Senior Signature tabling events throughout Fall & Spring Semester to raise awareness of program and increase student giving numbers
-Make presentations in selected classes about philanthropy and student participation
Coordination of UGA/Terry College Faculty & Staff Campaign
-Work with UGA’s central development office on timing and execution of campaign
-Solicit volunteers from Terry College of Business to serve as signatories
-Work with Terry’s Director of Donor Relations on post campaign stewardship gifts & delivery
-Create communications calendar to send out to faculty & staff about ways private philanthropy benefit each department
Serve as a liaison to the Young Alumni Board and Alumni Board Undergraduate Support Committees
-Coordinate with volunteers to enhance student giving and show impact of these gifts
-Secure matching gifts for Ambassador class gift
Assist with TCOB Annual Giving Marketing Efforts
-Work with Senior Director and Director on Direct Mail pieces, website, email solicitations, and other annual-giving directed activities to build support for the Terry Excellence Fund
