The College of Business and Administration at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is currently seeking applicants for a tenure-track, Assistant Professor position in Management starting in August 2020.

The primary area of teaching responsibility will be Introduction to Management and Organizational Behavior. Classes in other areas will be assigned as needed and efforts will be made to find opportunities for the candidate to teach in his/her special areas of expertise. Examples of potential classes in other areas of Management include Teamwork, Negotiation, and Conflict Management. 

The successful candidate will be devoted to teaching excellence at the graduate and undergraduate level, to pursuing community involvement, and committed to high-quality scholarly research. Cross-disciplinary and applied research is respected and encouraged. This position will require on-going scholarship sufficient to achieve and maintain AACSB "Scholarly Academic” status.

QualificationsMinimumQualifications: 

  • An earned doctorate (or ABD) in Management or a closely related field froman AACSB accredited business school. ABDapplicants must have completed all doctoral course requirements and qualifyingexams and must persuasively demonstrate that all degree requirements will becompleted before the start of the fall 2020 semester.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior andrelevant teaching experience at the university level.
  • An emerging research program and future agenda.
  • Collegial and collaborative work style.
