Job Summary/Basic Function:
The Department of Rehabilitation and Health Services seeks qualified individuals for its Adjunct Instructor Pool and welcomes applicants at any time. This posting is for the Fall 2019, Spring 2020, and Summer 2020 semesters. The specific courses involved may vary from semester to semester and openings to teach these courses develop on a periodic basis, depending on department teaching needs.
The anticipated need is for Adjunct Instructors whose duties may include, but are not limited to teaching the following courses: AGER 2250 - Images of Aging in Film and Literature; AGER 4450 - The Family in Later Life; AGER 4800 - The Social Context of Aging: Global Perspectives; AGER 5750 - Process of Aging; AGER 5780 - Federal, State & Local Programs in Aging

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree in Applied Gerontology or closely related field. Minimum of one year of teaching in an online setting.
Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Health Services Administration, Applied Gerontology or closely related field. Extensive experience using Canvas.
