This is a full time position that is responsible for establishing and achieving group, individual and season ticket sales goals by working with the athletic department administrators, head coaches, group sales contacts, season ticket holders, and other University community partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to managing the day to day ticket sales and operations efforts with a focus on group sales; organizing and implementing season ticket renewals and new sales initiatives with a strong focus on Men’s basketball; bolstering individual game sales through consistent telemarketing and email communication, special incentives, and creative discounts and promotional offers for Hofstra fans. This position will assist directly with in game activities related to sales; such as pre game clinics, half time scrimmages, scout days, special receptions and birthday parties. Candidates must be able to organize and handle all aspects of administration and adhere to the rules and regulations of Hofstra University, the Colonial Athletic Association and the NCAA. Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree required.
Knowledge of Microsoft office is preferred as is a working knowledge of a Ticketing system.
The successful candidate must be motivated, sales driven and detail oriented.
