Student Services Administrative Coordinator

The Student Services Administrative Coordinator provides administrative support to administrators and professional staff in the Center for Professional Development and the Office of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs & Diversity in the College of Law.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support a team of professional staff in the Center for Professional Development and the Office of Student Affairs, Academic Affairs & Diversity.
  • Perform clerical tasks including, but not limited to, maintaining files, screening and directing calls from students, employers, and alumni, preparing meeting minutes and reports, and job postings as well as follow-up on actions as needed.
  • Coordinate academic events and related promotional materials including, but not limited to, fall orientation, graduation, and student information sessions throughout the academic year, as well as career related student programs
  • Register administrators and staff for conferences and symposia, make related travel arrangements and handle credit card reimbursements and expenses
  • Draft letters, emails, and create flyers and invitations including social media
  • Schedule appointments and set meetings as necessary
  • Proctor exams during two-week exam period at the end of each semester
  • Serve as a greeter to visitors to the Center for Professional Development.
  • Room Scheduler - Monitor and approve or deny room requests in scheduling system
  • Coordinate special events including, but not limited to, the Dean’s Reception and Hooding, and on-campus recruiting programs and career-related events.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's degree with one (1) year experience; -OR- Associate's degree with three (3) years experience; -OR- five (5) years experience.

Experience must be in program coordination.
