Position Summary

Arts and Science is seeking a dedicated Academic Affairs Administrator to join the Department of Psychology. This individual will administer advisement, admissions, registration and financial aid activities for undergraduate and graduate students and advise students on policies and procedures. Assess course demands and trends to make recommendations to the Chair on future course development. Administer fellowship application submission activities and advise Chair on School fellowship policies and procedures. Administer annual departmental budgets; prepare forecasts; authorize reallocation of funds, and approve expenditures. Supervise staff.

Qualifications

Required Education:Bachelor's degree andRequired Experience:2 years' relevant experience or an equivalent combination. Must include experience planning and implementing activities and services, advising students, and administering budgets.Preferred Experience:Experience advising students at the college or university level.Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Excellent organization, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:Knowledge of MS Office software.
