SCAD seeks a Career Services Adviser to serve undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni. In this role, you will act as a liaison within an assigned school or classification and set of major fields of study.

As a Career Services Adviser, you will provide one-on-one sessions, implement workshops, make presentations and manage special events. You will also provide outreach to industry leaders, businesses and alumni to help develop job and internship opportunities for SCAD students and graduates.

The ideal candidate has excellent project management, communication and presentation skills. He or she has a demonstrated understanding of the art and design job market, information management systems, web-based technology, the career development process and experience working with diverse populations. Always maintaining a student-centered focus and positive, proactive spirit, the successful candidate demonstrates the highest level of professionalism through personal dress and conduct. A thorough knowledge of career consulting reference tools and the use of solution-based activities to support the university’s mission and institutional connections is essential.

Requirements:
•Master’s degree preferred, bachelor’s degree with strong work history considered
•Experience in career advising, recruiting or related industry experience
