Position Summary

The Department of Political Science at the University of Georgia invites applications and nominations for a tenure-track assistant professor in Methodology and American Politics starting August 2020. Duties include teaching and mentoring at the undergraduate and graduate levels and the publishing of original research in professional outlets.

Additional Requirements

Candidates should have PhD or an earned doctorate by Fall 2020.

The successful candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, clear substantive interest in American politics, and an eagerness to teach and mentor undergraduate and graduate students. Demonstrated potential for excellence in teaching and scholarship is preferred.
