About Oakton Community College :

We have an opening for dual credit Biology faculty beginning with the Fall 2019 semester. Qualified applicants will currently be employed by Maine West High School or Maine South High School as a teacher.

Job Description:

Oakton has an opening beginning with the Fall 2019 semester for dual credit Biology faculty. The course will be taught at the Maine West and Maine South High Schools by a faculty of that school.

BIO114 - Basic Human Anatomy and Physiology

Requirements:

Master's degree in biology, one of the biological sciences, or biology education with at least 18 graduate hours in biology. Master's degree or higher degree in related field of study with at least 18 graduate hours in biology. Also required is current employment by Maine West or South High School.

Preferred: College teaching experience Doctoral degree in biology, one of the biological sciences, or biology education with at least 18 graduate hours in biology.
