General Summary The Health Service Nurse promotes an optimal level of wellness and enhances the educational process for the Student Health Service clients by reducing or removing health-related barriers to learning. Performs duties in accordance with accepted standards of nursing practice and the health service policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications 1. Licensure as a Registered Professional Nurse in Illinois.

2. If this position is Security Sensitive or if you are subject to a criminal background investigation based on University policy, employment is contingent upon you passing a satisfactory criminal background investigation. You may not begin work until the criminal background investigation results have been received and cleared by Human Resources.
Desired Qualifications: 1. Two (2) year experience as a registered professional nurse, preferably in an ambulatory care or medical setting.

2. Current CPR certification.
Necessary Licenses/Certifications/Degrees Illinois licensure for Registered Professional Nurse.
Hiring Rate/Range $24.30-$29.15 per hour
Work Hours Monday-Friday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
