The Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Instructor positions in the Academic Support Staff. This appointment will be initially for one (1) year and continuation during that time period and renewal are based on satisfactory performance and availability of funding (limited to three (3) years).

Responsibilities may include teaching of residents, medical students, and/or fellows rotating through the operating rooms and wards of the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) and the Penn Presbyterian Medical Center (PPMC).

Applicants must have an M.D. degree. Applicants must of an M.D. or equivalent degree, ABA certification or eligibility required. The successful applicant will have an opportunity to participate in several educational seminars to prepare them for an academic career.

Applicants must have demonstrated excellent qualifications in education, and clinical care.
