Description:

The Department of Psychiatry at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of community psychiatry and publicly-funded mental health services.

Teaching responsibilities may include overseeing the community psychiatry fellowship program at Penn. The person in this position will develop and implement didactics and provide supervision to community psychiatry fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include providing direct clinical care at Horizon House, Inc., and acting as director of quality improvement for Horizon House.

Applicants must have an M.D. degree.

Although research is not required in the Academic Clinician track, opportunities to support research may be available.
