Cornell College, a private undergraduate liberal arts college, invites applications for an adjunct instructor to teach German 101 in the Fall 2019 semester. Cornell College is a selective liberal arts college distinguished by its One Course At A Time calendar, under which faculty teach, and students take, one course at a time in month-long terms.Course and term dates:GER 101. Beginning German I (November 18- December 18, 2019)Introduction to speaking, reading, writing, and listening comprehension in German. Facility in speaking and understanding spoken German is stressed. Readings emphasize culture, literature and contemporary life in the German-speaking countries.
Instructors are expected to teach each day of the 18-day term for at least three hours scheduled between 9 AM and 3 PM.
