Regional Director, Global Engagement Office (New Markets) Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 201902158482 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $55,000 - $95,150 Position Information International Education Programs (IEP) at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) Extension, has one of the largest and most successful international programs in the USA. Each year, IEP welcomes over 4,000 international students from over 40 countries. UCR has been offering high quality programs since 1975, including a multiple-level ESL program, TESOL programs, academic pathways programs, concurrent enrollment, post-graduate diplomas/certificates, and custom designed programs for short-term groups of visiting students and professionals. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Required Advanced degree. Preferred
Experience Experience Requirement 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required Experience utilizing student information, Salesforce and/or other CRM systems. Preferred Proven experience successfully meeting recruitment targets. Required Proven successful experience developing and implementing short- and long-range international recruitment strategic plans via utilization of educational partnerships, agent networks, private sector, and governmental schemes. Required Experience promoting and recruiting towards international education programs, and in particular, English, academic and/or professional programs. Preferred Experience creating and developing international marketing materials and campaigns through digital marketing. Preferred Proven record of successful experience in international recruitment in Eurasia and Western Europe, or Southeast Asia, or Africa. Required International experience (i.e., living, working, studying abroad). Preferred Experience supervising student employees and interns. Preferred
Special Conditions Special Condition Requirement Extensive international travel required, approximately 12-18 weeks per year. Required

Full professional fluency in one or more languages other than English.
Ability to work with a wide range of people across diverse cultural backgrounds, including those holding senior positions.
Thorough knowledge of marketing mediums and funding sources.
Strong interpersonal communication and political acumen skills.
Thorough knowledge of communication principles, media, and marketing techniques.
Strong skills in event and media activities management.
Thorough analytical and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt to changing business needs, conditions, and work responsibilities.
Skill in mentoring less experienced staff.
Ability to create remarkable customer service experiences.
Strong understanding of international education, the US educational system, global business cultures, and experience in strategic planning and marketing development.

Excellent time management and problem solving techniques.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office software.
Ability to travel frequently, domestically and internationally.
Preferred Qualifications Thorough knowledge of the campus and/or medical center products and services.

Knowledge of online international recruitment, enrollment and marketing resources and social media platforms.
