Liberal Arts & Management Department – Adjunct Faculty Member to teach 100- and 200-level writing courses such as Composition I and Critical Inquiry & Writing (ENG211)

Position Summary: The Liberal Arts & Management Department at Maria College invites applications for an adjunct classroom instructor in the area of English to teach college-level writing. We are looking for an exceptional educator with the ability, energy, and intellectual charisma to be a first-rate teacher.

Minimum Job Requirements: Master’s degree (or higher) in English from a regionally accredited college or university; some college teaching experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to teach college-level writing.
  • Ability to teach basic and advanced concepts to students in various academic programs.
  • Preference will be given to those who have prior teaching experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and commitment to excellence in teaching students of diverse backgrounds.
  • Online teaching experience with the Blackboard LMS.
