The Department of Management in the University of Miami Business School, Coral Gables, FL invites applications from qualified scholars for a tenure track faculty position in Entrepreneurship/Strategy beginning in August 2020.  This is an open rank search in which candidates will be considered at the Associate or Full Professor level. A named professorship is also a possibility for the right candidate.  The successful candidate is expected to have a distinguished program of research with publications in top refereed journals and other indicators of an outstanding reputation in the field (including editorial responsibilities on major journals and/or involvement in professional associations).  As a private university, we expect all faculty colleagues to possess outstanding pedagogical skills and have experience teaching at undergraduate and/or graduate courses in Entrepreneurship, Strategy, as well as an ability to lead programmatic development in the Entrepreneurship area.  The Management Department is heterogenous with respect to disciplines, and is highly collegial.  Qualified candidates should have a Ph.D. in Strategy, Entrepreneurship, International Business, or a related business field demonstrating high levels of achievement in scholarship and teaching.  The University of Miami is an Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer and enthusiastically embraces diversity particularly with respect to underrepresented minorities and women, all of whom we encourage to apply.
