The Department of Sociology in the College of Arts and Sciences, University of Miami, is soliciting applications for individuals interested in possible part-time teaching positions (maximum two courses in a semester). The Department is particularly interested in applicants able to teach upper division courses in Social Stratification/Inequality and lower division courses on Social Problems. Minimum qualification: a Doctorate or Masters in Sociology. Applications will be reviewed as received, and this pool will remain open throughout the academic year. An appointment/offer is contingent upon student demand (enrollments) and available funding, with the possibility that final confirmation will not be available until classes begin.
