Position SummaryThe School of Hospitality Business in the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University is seeking applications for a tenure track, Assistant Professor position with responsibilities for research, teaching and service. The successful candidate will teach accounting and related courses as pertaining to the hospitality industry. The position will start August 16, 2020.The incumbent will teach accounting and related topics to undergraduate and graduate hospitality business students.
Doctorate -Accounting or related fieldMinimum RequirementsThe minimum academic qualification is a Ph.D. in Accounting or related field and has demonstrated strong familiarity with the Hospitality Industry. Applicants should have demonstrated the potential to publish in scholarly journals, and an ability to teach effectively in a diverse environment. The ideal candidate should have experience in teaching, research, outreach, and international hospitality management. Experience or interest in on-line course development and teaching is desired.
